TO DO

Stockholm is a beautiful city, full with buildings that are #apartmentgoals. So make sure to have some time to just walk around. If you're visiting Stockholm for the first time, the old city gamla stan is definitely worth a visit and trying some Swedish kanelbulle is a must. The big department store Nordiska Kompaniet is also really nice, and don't forget to take a look at the royal palace.

But if you're like me and you enjoy just soaking in the city and doing things that are not so touristy, head to Södermalm - my favorite area of the city full of nice stores and cute streets with nice coffee shops.

Oh and the city is full of trendy and really good looking people with a great sense of style. Some style stalking and getting inspired of real street style is definitely something fun to do when visiting Stockholm.

TO SHOP

I think it's always really nice to buy something local when traveling. And it really doesn't matter wether you have the same store in your home country or not, but I like having things like "oh I bought this knit from Stockholm" or "I brought that bag from Paris with me".

In addition to these, there are many nice shops like the Aesop store and everything from Zara to H&M. And don't forget the inspiring nordic fashion magazines you can buy when in Stockholm, for example STYLEBY and Costume.

TO EAT

When traveling and visiting new places, I always make a list of nice coffee shops and restaurants I want to go to. I usually find these while scrolling trough instagram or pinterest and plan beforehand where I want to go - there is nothing more annoying than being hungry and trying desperately to find a nice place to eat at.
