If I start to think back on my two week vacation to Bali the first words that come into my mind are; smiles, sun, giggles and Sunday mornings. Good memories.

This was my first time visiting Indonesia and also my very first time in Asia.
It's a different world. The air is humid and soft, you can feel the sun kissing your skin. The rice fields are green and beautiful and the streets are crowded, full with scooters and cars, moving in some sort of mutual understanding even though traffic rules don't really exist.

We stayed mostly in Canggu, a little surfer paradise in the island of Bali. It's a weird combination of local rice farmers and Australian surfer guys with blonde locks. It's a place where trendy brunch spots and beach lounges meet old hindu traditions such as offerings being placed in front of every store and restaurant daily.
And this weird contradiction is the exact reason why I fell in love with this place.

During our stay we spotted quite a few places I thought I'd like to share with you.
