Saturday 'photoshoot' ! I just went wild with those flowers and took a lot of pictures... :) 

That skirt is actually one of my favorite pieces of clothing. And now I wore it with one of my purchases from Nyc, the roseclutch. My hair looks blond when the sunlight hits it. fun !

Happily I can announce to you that my last exam was today and I'm off to summerholiday ! Yayy. 

Lauantain kuvaussessiot ! Tuli vähän räpsittyä kuvia kun ihastuin noihin kukkiin niin paljon että tykkäsin ottaa kuvia.. :) Ja toi hame on itseasiassa yks mun lempparivaatteista. Ja nyt yhdistin sen Nykistä ostetun ruusulaukun kanssa. Hassua muuten kun hiukset näyttää ihan blondeilta ku aurinko osuu niihin :) Ja voin ilmoittaa iloisesti että tänään oli mun tän vuoden vika koe ja kesäloma voi alkaa ! Jees.

I just love wearing bright colors with white. Somehow there's not too much contrast and the whole outfit seems fresh. And I'm in love with that neon top ! (even though my mom hates it :D)

Tykkään käyttää värikkäiden vaatteiden kanssa valkosta. Se jotenkin estää liian kontrastin ja koko asu on raikas. Ja ahh ku tykkään tosta neon värisestä topista ! (vaikkakin meijän äiti vihaa sitä :D)

Brooklyn Bridge.

During our stay we visited a lot of famous places of course. One of my favorite was Brooklyn Bridge. It's just pretty. In these pictures, I think I've managed to capture a little bit of the atmosphere from New York. But this time the more relaxed one. That's what I like in New York. You can find people and a lot to do, but you can also find a street where the feeling is more peaceful and relaxed. Hope you'll enjoy these pictures :) 

Visiittimme aikana käytiin monissa kuuluisissa paikoissa.. tietty. Yks mun lemppareista oli Brooklyn Bridge. Se on vaan jotenki nätti. Näissä kuvissa oon mielestäni onnistunu nappaamaan New Yorkin fiilistä, mutta tällä kertaa sitä rennompaa puolta. Se onki mistä tykkään New Yorkissa. Voit olla ihmisten ympäröimänä ja tehdä kaikkea, mutta sit voit löytää kans sen hiljasemman ja rennomman kadun tai kulmauksen. Toivottavasti nautitte näistä kuvista :)

Quick outfit post ! I've been so busy, wanted to post this weeks earlier outfits but I was just so busy that I didn't even have time to take pictures ! Sorry. But here you go :) It's summer and I love it. Ahhhh.

Nopee asupostaus ! Oon ollu niin kiireinen, että vaikka oon halunnu postailla alkuviikon asuja ni en oo ehtiny ees ottaa kuvia ! Sori. Mutta tässä tämä, olkaapa hyvät :) Ihana kesä. ahh.

Central Park, the lungs of New York City. Once you step inside the green park you don't even feel like you are in a big city anymore. The atmosphere there with all those beautiful bridges and ponds, flowers and grass areas.. It's just lovely ! I loved it. We went there many times, once jogging at night time! Awesome. I wish I could go jogging in Central Park every day :D In reality, even if I would live there I would be too lazy to go jogging every day.. oh well, at least in theory that would be awesome !

One of my favorite spots was Bow Bridge. This beautiful bridge with an amazing view. Central Park is also full with squirrels, which I like a lot like I mentioned before. Cuties which are quite friendly ! But yeah, Central Park was nice !

New Yorkin Keskuspuisto, kaupungin keuhkot. Kun astut viheriöivän puiston sisään ei kyllä tunnu yhtään siltä, että oisit isossa kaupungissa. Ilmapiiri kaikkien kauniiden siltojen ja lampien, kukkien ja nurmikoiden kanssa on vaan ihana ! Tykkäsin paljon. Käytiin siellä monta kertaa, kerran iltamyöhään juoksulenkillä! Parasta. Ois kiva joka päivä käydä juoksulenkillä siellä :D Tosielämässä vaikka asuisin siellä niin oisin liian laiska käymään lenkillä joka päivä.. mutta teoriassa hieno idea. Yks mun lempipaikoista oli tää "Rusettisilta". Kaunis silta ja ihanat näkymät. Myös tää puisto on täynnä oravia, joista tykkään kuten aikasemmin mainitsin. Söpöjä pikku otuksia, jotka on aika ystävällisiä! Mutta juu, Keskuspuisto oli ihana !

Turtlepond. There were also baby turtles ! CUTE.
Kilpikonnalampi. Siellä oli myös vauvakilppareita ! Söpöä.

CUPCAKES ♥

Few days ago a baked cupcakes with my sister ! The recipe for these rhubarb cupcakes was from my new recipebook which I bought from the Hamptons. It's Martha Stewart's book and it's full of delicious looking recipes. It has easier ones and also harder, which I think is very nice. The cupcakes turned out pretty nice and super yummy ! :)

Pari päivää sitten leivoin muffinsseja/kuppikakkuja isosiskoni kanssa ! Resepti näihin raparperimuffinsseihin löyty mun uudesta reseptikirjasta jonka ostin Hampton-reissulta. Se on Martha Stewartin reseptikirja ja täynnä herkullisen näkösiä reseptejä. nam nam ! Siellä on helpompi ja sit tosi haastavia reseptejä, mikä mun mielestä on tosi kiva. Näistä muffinsseista tuli aika jees ja maistu hyvältä ! :)

RECIPE for Rhubarb Cupcakes:

1½ cups all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon coarse salt 

½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cups sugar

2 large eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

½ cup sour cream, room temperature

½ pound rhubarb, stalks trimmed and cut (2 cups)

topping (not from the recipebook, we made our own)

200g cream cheese (philadelphia) 

powdered sugar

about 45-50g butter, room temperature

1. preheat the oven to 350℉/180℃. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

2. With an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat in the vanilla extract. Reduce speed to low and add flour mixture in two batches and the sour cream. Stir in the rhubarb.

3. Divide batter evenly among lined cups, fillin each three-quarters full. Bake about 25 minutes.

topping: mix the cream cheese and butter until they are mixed well. add powdered sugar as much as you like until the topping has the taste and structure you like.

ps. en käännä näitä suomeksi, kaikki varmaan ymmärtää :) ja ite muuntelin noita cupseja nettin mukaan deseiksi .. mutta hankinnassa on semmonen mitta missä näkyy sekä cupsit että desit !

These pictures are from a lovely day we spent wandering in the streets of New York. Madison square park is in my opinion really cute ! There's this atmosphere where you feel relaxed and happy. Birds and squirrels come around which is nice because I LOVE squirrels. :D Most of the days were similar to this one. Walking around different places, doing some shopping and just living the days there, enjoying the city ! 

Nää kuvat on yhdenltä mukavalta päivältä jota vietettiin kävelemmällä pitkin New Yorkin katuja. Madison square puisto oli mun mielestä tosi söpö ! Siellä on mukava ilmapiirii, jossa voi rentoutua iloisesti. Linnut laulaa ja oravat on kesyjä, se on ihanaa koska oravat on IHANIA :D Suurin osa päivistä oli samantapasia. Kävelyä eri paikoissa, shoppailua ja vaan elämistä Nykissä !

Ehdin jo maistaa kuorrutetta ja sitten tajusin että olin unohtanu ottaa kuvan :D 

And one of the yummy things during my trip was tasting cupcakes from Magnolia bakery. The bakery is pretty full of tourists, but it's worth it ! The cupcakes are really good, my friend even bought a magnolia bakery recipebook ! Can't wait to bake some cupcakes with her ;) And I liked how the bakery looked like with it's pink and blue decorations. A place worth visiting I'd say!

Yks matkan namikokemuksista oli käynti Magnolia leipomossa. Leipomo on aika täynnä turisteja mutta käynti siellä kannattaa. Kuppikakut on tosi hyviä, ystäväni osti jopa magnolia leipomon reseptikirjan ! En malta oottaa että leivotaan sieltä jotain ;) Ja ite tykkäsin miltä se ite leipomo näytti vaaleenpunasten ja sinisten koristedensa kanssa. Sanoisin että paikka oli käymisen arvonen!
